The Product and Programs Director will contribute to the Longitudinal Assessment initiative and is responsible for providing integrated leadership, direction and development of the CertLink platform & associated ABMS CertLink Programs. The Director leads the development, implementation, enhancements and expansion of the platform and program.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chief Operating Officer in a matrixed structure, the Director leads cross-functional teams to advance CertLink’s goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and standards and while promoting a culture of customer service, continuous improvement, innovation and growth.
Cross –Functional Responsibilities:
Facilitate interactions/communication with department/functional project leads to advance work and project plans, current and future activities, challenges, risks, and resource needs.
Lead integration program design requirements and platform implementation with the Chief Information Officer and other key members of the ABMS team.
Create and manage key success metrics for the overall project, inclusive of program and platform.
Work with PM and CIO to identify and mitigate risks associated with platform design.
Partner with program evaluation, communications and research teams to develop a comprehensive diplomate engagement strategy inclusive of including but not limited to communications tool kits, comprehensive messages, and metrics to track outreach, adoption and overall success.
Provide continuity and insight between the needs of the Member Boards programs, the research initiative and the technical/IT needs of the CertLink initiative.
Serve as CertLink product/program representative to internal and external audiences.
Facilitate meetings, communications and updates to executive management, Member Board Community, and other critical team members to report on progress and reach critical policy/business decisions.
Direct and oversee the administration of the CertLink budget including monthly management plus forecasting activities.
Directly supervise, support, and develop team of program coordinator, contractors and other team members as appropriate.
Serve as the primary contact for Member Boards to ensure full understanding of programmatic, implementation, support and communication needs.
Lead all elements of programmatic and CertLink collaboratives to ensure sharing of best practices across Member Boards.
Facilitate and promotes collaborative environment across Member Boards to encourage the sharing of new ideas via forums for learning and innovation.
Manage timelines/deliverables from Member Boards and ABMS team to ensure alignment with program milestones and hallmarks.
Develop and manages content quality control initiative s including coordination of subject matter expert, outside contractors and other support staff.
Support IT platform requirements build in conjunction with CIO to ensure support/compliance for ABMS Member Boards as well as considerations for new users of the platform.
Determine future needs for the platform and set strategy for future iterations.
Lead business development opportunities to expand usage of CertLink platform.

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Preference given to educational and experiential foci Program/product development, Assessment, Program Evaluation, Health Administration/Management.
Minimum of 8 years related experience required.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, complex, geographically distributed programs required.
Demonstrated ability to lead within matrix staffing environment and influence superiors, peers as well as those directly reporting to this role.
Demonstrated maturity in working with physicians/physician volunteers/medical executives required.
