The Coordinator, Certification is the first line contact for the certification phone calls and e-mail box. This requires significant email and telephone contact with applicants and candidates, as well as the ability to address candidate questions and concerns. The Coordinator provides administrative support to support the management of the Academy governance program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
First line contact for certification phone calls and e-mail box
Provide support to the Specialist and Manager for initial and maintenance related tasks as directed by the Certification Manager
Provide customer support to the Exam Practice Exam products
Liaison to ProExam and the digital badging product
Prepare check requests for vendor invoices
Provide administrative support for Academy and Global Exam Committees to include updating rosters/distribution lists and committee charges to work with Marketing on posting to website and updated in NetForum, agendas, annual nominations review, annual onboard/orientation with new board/committee members (i.e. mailing confirmation letters, volunteer documents,
Assist the Associate Director, Governance with updated the Academy’s policies and policy manual
Schedule and send out Academy and Global Exam calendar invitations for meetings and track attendance
Collect Academy content for meeting books, prepare and send books to participants
Prepare tent signs, order meeting materials, coordinate weekend office needs for Academy meetings
Post the meeting materials and minutes to the online community
Prepare and disseminate the post-meeting Board assessment survey
Provide additional on-site support for Academy and Global Exam Committee meetings
Professional development goals as defined by the Manager, Certification
Other responsibilities and projects as defined by the Manager, Certification

Contribute ideas and work collaboratively with all ACRP staff, volunteer leaders, partner organizations, and vendors to achieve the organizational mission, successfully execute the strategic plan, and continuously improve the value of the Academy and ACRP

This position reports to the Manager, Certification.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus at least three years experience in the certification profession, either at a stand-alone certification board or in the certification department of a member association or trade association.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of the certification application and eligibility review process.
Database updating, queries and process management; and ability to troubleshoot these processes.
Strong customer service focus.
Proofreading, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Microsoft (MS) Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Outlook, association management systems, certification management systems, internet applications, quality assurance and quality control systems, file transfer protocol, and policy and procedure management applications; ability to rapidly learn new technology and applications.
Must be able to work some flexible hours, including weekends.
