In this exciting and highly visible role, you will run the day-to-day operations including administration, finance (supporting an outside accounting firm) marketing and membership engagement/growth. The position requires a unique professional willing to work at both the micro and macro levels within all areas of the organization to produce and implement solid work plans and successfully engage internal and external stakeholders. Working with a committed board, chapter leadership, and staff, your ability to produce and implement outstanding best practices (administration, human resources, membership, finance, etc.) will ensure your success in this exciting leadership position.
QUALIFICATIONS: The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-7+ years of management/director level experience preferably in an association, nonprofit, or membership related organization. A collaborative management style based on open, transparent, continual communication, sharing, and inclusive decision-making coupled with a solution-oriented and entrepreneurial spirit are a must. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) and strong computer skills are a required. Candidates with expertise using technology, social media and operational best people/process management practices to create efficiency and increase membership engagement are highly desired.
