The American Staffing Association is seeking a candidate for Membership Account Manager. This position drives membership growth throughout all phases of the membership lifecycle, including prospecting and recruitment, welcoming and orientation, and ongoing engagement and renewal.
The account manager will assist with the design and execution of the member recruitment and retention plans and membership marketing. Specifically this position will contact prospective and current members by phone, email, and social media to build relationships and connect their needs with our member benefits.
Previous experience in sales or serving members or clients (3-5 years)
Ability to build rapport with prospective and existing members at all levels of the organization
Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and strong desire to provide outstanding customer service
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; should be able to prioritize work and projects
**You must enjoy making proactive member outreach phone calls on a daily basis in order to succeed in this position.**
Additional experience to set apart the ideal candidate includes sales or account management, hands-on experience with current recruitment and engagement practices, and iMIS database experience.
