Join a growing team at the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) as a Projects Coordinator. You’ll be working with ASRA staff and physician volunteers to develop program, products and services to fulfill the ASRA mission of advancing the practice and science of regional anesthesia and pain medicine.
In this role, you will support membership, communications, certification and event management.
This position reports to the Operations Manager.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Membership and Customer Service
Respond to member and customer requests in timely, professional manner.
Support Committee on Research, including taking minutes and supporting grant review and management
Support the membership database maintenance and ensure the accuracy of its content.
Handle member inquiries and requests serving as a primary contact
Execute membership recruitment and retention campaigns and marketing efforts, as directed.
Execute communications campaigns and promotional efforts, as directed.
Write, edit and proofread communications as needed.
Provide website, app and social media support and maintenance.
Event and Certification Management
Coordinate all aspects of certificate program including managing written and practical exam logistics.
Process registration applications received though phone calls, online, and mail.
Provide onsite registration coordination.
Track registration client history documents and compile registration reports for each event.
Work with accounting to compile invoices and finalize database wrap-up.
2-4 years of basic office experience in non-profit membership organizations.
Proven success in administrative duties.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills and networking.
Experience with association management software.
Experience with website and social media management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required with ability to learn new software.
