he Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, is seeking a Manager, Learning Initiatives. The full time Manager of Learning Initiatives will be responsible for managing lifelong learning efforts across multiple educational projects and programs. The Manager of Learning Initiatives will represent the Academy in providing program updates to staff, members and external stakeholders, along with day to day guidance for programming areas within Lifelong Learning.
Responsibilities: * Manage Academy efforts and initiatives tied to the International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative (IDDSI). This position will ensure that timelines, deliverables and outputs related to the IDDSI are met. * Manage and develop budgets for each project and manage projects within budget guidelines. * Oversee and manage Academy approved provider program efforts. . * Act as the primary Lifelong Learning point of contact for all Dietetic Practice Group (DPG)-related continuing education needs, including Continuing Professional Education (CPE) review and approval. * Development of a volunteer training system for professional development around CPE opportunities. * Provide day-to-day project management support for the Center for Lifelong Learning.
Background Requirements: * One to two years of relevant work experience along with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year academic training are required . * RDN credential required. * Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products and experienced working with online educational platforms and demonstrated project management experience. * Excellent customer service, communication and organization skills are required. * Independent self-starter possessing excellent problem solving and project management skills, along with demonstrated judgment, reasoning and the ability to collaborate. * Travel is required for periodic meetings such as the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo., Board of Director and IDDSI meetings.
