The American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians is looking to hire a Member Services Coordinator to assist the Director of Member Services in the management of two osteopathic physician organizations, ACOEP and AOCOOHNS (American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery) and their databases. The ideal candidate will be motivated and comfortable taking initiative in their work, have a few years of experience working for an association or managing multiple clients, and have extensive and practical knowledge of Excel beyond simple formulas. Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and excellent communication skills are desired. This position, like the membership department itself, will be split between member growth and retention as well as data analyzation and reporting.
This position requires the ability to work quickly and efficiently on several projects at one time and have strong time management skills. It entails considerable interaction with clients, team members, and other departments within ACOEP, and the groups we manage. Travel may be required to a spring and fall conference.

Coordinator of Member Services: ACOEP and AOCOO-HNS
Project and scope of position
Assist with the data entry and database management for both organizations, including but not limited to updating, entering or correcting member files, entering dues payments or status changes (split with director of member services).
Assist in an upcoming database transition for both associations and learning a new system along with the rest of the office (project to be started and completed in Mid-November 2017)
Work with Director of member services to invoice Residency programs in 2018 and then eventually own the task for 2019 and beyond
Provide staff support to the Director of Member Services at Convention and other meetings where staff may be needed to man the membership booth
Act as the first point of contact for membership phone calls and emails for both clients
Generates database reports for managerial staff as requested
Maintains paper files and electronic records of membership payments and applications for both clients
Staff Liaison to an ACOEP committee (New Physicians in Practice) of member volunteers
Must have intermediate or better skills with Excel and Word
