The Director, Global Education is responsible for coordinating and implementing an overall education strategy that aligns with AIHA’s strategic plan and positions AIHA as the best source of science-based industrial hygiene and EHS education and information. Specifically, this involves the direction of all education efforts for AIHA in multiple learning formats and venues, developing a product mix to attract and meet the needs of industrial hygienists and related professionals in all industries and career stages, and identifying and maintaining a revenue-generating pricing model to sustain the programs. Topics are based on the AIHA bodies of knowledge, AIHA core competencies, volunteer committee input especially that of the Content Advisory Portfolio Group (CPAG), and the body of knowledge of the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) program. Programs are tailored to every level of the profession and are delivered via multiple formats including face-to-face conferences, seminars and symposia, digital/mobile and on-line. The Director will collaborate with staff to coordinate the selection of topics and choices of delivery methods. This position reports directly to the Managing Director, Scientific and Technical Initiatives.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in education, business, or a related field from a four-year college or university; or seven+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both. Supervisory experience, experience working with a scientific or technical society in education, and a Master’s degree are pluses.
