Functions as Chief Executive Officer providing overall management and administration of all programs and activities of regional Graphic Communications Industry association. Provides guidance and recommendations to and participates in affairs of Board of Directors on direction and functions of association. Serves as a voting member of Executive Committee and Boards of subsidiary organizations. Has overall responsibility for budget, administration, personnel, programming, and delivery of services for New England Membership. Functions as liaison to national industry associations and serves as spokesman for regional industry to press, other organizations, and the general public.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or related field and a minimum of 10 years experience in the trade association, business, or equivalent area demonstrating ability in organizing, supervising, and budgeting skills. Demonstrated sound judgement, organizational development, computer, and public speaking skills required.
Carries out policy directives of Board of Directors. Provides recommendations to the Board and Executive Committee for initiatives and programs that will support the mission of the organization. Responsible for supporting and maintaining adherence to the mission of PINE as developed and approved by the Board.
