APICS, the leading professional association for supply chain professionals, is seeking someone with experience working with the members of an association as the Manager of Member Development. Supply chain is rapidly evolving, and our membership is diverse. The Manager will be responsible for understanding the needs of our entire member base and emerging trends in the field of supply chain and, in response, making recommendations to advance member benefits to better serve the membership. The Manager will supervise the Associate Business Analyst. While this is not a Marketing position, good written and oral communication and strong interpersonal skills are required to succeed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The Manager is charged with understanding APICS’ member and customer behaviors to identify trends, opportunities and new target markets as well as generational drivers to constantly evolve the value proposition, communications and member benefits to support membership and revenue growth.
By understanding member and customer behaviors through data analytics as well as other methods of outreach and research, the Manager will develop and implement strategic membership initiatives.
Serves as the project lead for all membership enhancements and new initiatives
Supervises the work of the Associate Business Analyst.
Evolve membership communications and collateral pertaining to recruitment, retention, engagement and member recognition
