The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), located in Rosemont, Ill., has an immediate opening for a director of marketing. The director is responsible for planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies, communications and activities, in addition to overseeing the direction, design, production and distribution of marketing materials. The director also works with association staff and volunteer leaders to ensure NRCA's vision and mission are grounded in all marketing materials, resources and communications.
NRCA's marketing director is responsible for managing the association's marketing and customer service staff and works closely with all NRCA departments and members of the board of directors and Executive Committee to achieve association goals.
Minimum of five year's experience in marketing, communications and/or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably with experience in the nonprofit sector. Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred; graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
The position requires some weekend and evening work, as well as some overnight travel and weekend travel.
