The Foundation for Professional Pest Management, the certification organization for the National Pest Management Association, located in Fairfax, VA, is currently looking to fill the full-time position of QualityPro Certification Program Coordinator. This position will execute marketing efforts for recruitment and retention of accredited companies and be responsible for the administration of a growing credentialing program.
Database administration (Aptify)
Administer the annual renewal process (monthly invoicing and payment processing) including working with companies that have not renewed their certification
Respond to daily requests from accredited companies ranging from online assistance to sales letters and program collateral
Fulfil orders for marketing materials and maintain inventory
Process applications: coding payment, starting online accounts and sending application packets
Process new certifications: changing online rights and sending welcome packets
Help execute an industry marketing plan and strategies to recruit new companies to pursue certification, including but not limited to social media, electronic communications, and trade publications
Serve as project manager when working with third party vendors (e.g. graphic designers, IT support, printers, etc.)
Assist accredited companies in utilizing the QualityPro brand for new business, hiring efforts, and employee engagement
Understand the needs of accredited companies and make recommendations on how to support them
Increase the number of companies that have earned certification for their services which include: Schools, Food Safety, and GreenPro
Monthly reporting on newly accredited companies and progress towards goals and objectives
Working with NPMA staff where goals overlap

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and competencies:
Experience with and passion for marketing and customer service
Understanding of social media, web analytics and online presence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work/internship references that can speak to creativity, customer service, self-management and organizational skills
Fit with the NPMA culture including living the core values of integrity, teamwork, passion, fun, and life balance
Proficient with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Outlook, HTML editing and database usage (ideally Aptify); ability to rapidly learn new software products.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of time
