The National Association of Landscape Professionals is looking for a Database Manager to join their team. The Database Manager develops, maintains and optimizes the organization’s iMIS database with an emphasis on delivery of data, data integrity, security, and staff support and training. This position will serve as the internal and external point of contact for all iMIS related matters.
Serve as the primary source for data maintenance, member updates and reports including:
Troubleshoot membership access requests
Create and update Task Centre automated tasks and communications
Development of IQA’s
Update committees and online communities
Initiate membership renewal invoices
Maintain database integrity by conducting routine audits of membership data
Work with events department to ensure online event registrations are setup properly for all events. Also, ensures registrant data is recorded for all conferences, webinars and meetings and to manage conference registrations (pre, on-site, and post).
Review all monthly financial transactions, to include: dues, certification, events, publications and fundraising to ensure data accuracy prior to the finance department completing monthly validation process.
Manage campaigns and set-up in Fundraising module.
Identify and set up standard reports for staff to run independently.
Provide ongoing staff training and development
Strategically focus on improvement of member experience and data analysis
Primary contact with our iMIS reseller for all project quotes
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, related field or equivalent years of experience.
3-5 years’ experience in an association or non-profit environment.
Experience with iMIS is required.
Experience with iMIS related tools including Task Centre, Crystal reports, Microsoft SQL Server and RiSE is preferred.
Results driven – ability to work at a fast pace and meet critical deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with team members.
Effective interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service required, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
