IIAR is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and self-directed professional to assist with our membership marketing communications programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and maximizing membership engagement, retention and recruitment through the successful formation and execution of sales and marketing efforts. Responsibilities will include the implementation of integrated marketing strategies and promotional campaigns across all product lines within the organization. The position responsibilities will include assistance in the production of publications, membership services, annual meeting development, website management, social media and brand advertising.
Reports to Vice President of Marketing and Sales
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain and manage main association website using iMis Rise platform. Assist with updating ancillary platforms where necessary. Create and design webpages, manage content posted to blogs, post news stories, update and maintain all pages. Add digital elements to webpages like videos, e-books, etc., and track analytics.
Support the Society's strategic goals through print and digital membership acquisition, engagement, and retention marketing campaigns.
Develop and maintain schedule of marketing campaigns including writing, coordinating graphics, and distribution of a wide variety of promotional and support materials for all member campaigns.
Define and administer membership procedures including auditing, reporting and maintaining member files and iMis database.
Monitor and track budgets for membership marketing campaigns
Provide editorial and production support including proof reading, writing, copy editing for IIAR blogs, email communications and website platforms.
Assist in the production, writing and editing of the IIAR monthly newsletter.
Assist with implementation of annual conference marketing program development and conference registration.
Provide staff support at annual IIAR Conferences & Expo
Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related area
3 to 5 years of association marketing and communications experience preferred
Requires excellent written and oral communication
Highly motivated, goal driven and a self-starter
Extremely organized, efficient and detail-oriented
Specialized knowledge of marketing materials production and promotion
Demonstrated experience and results in print and electronic marketing communications in a high-volume association setting
Experience working with a diverse membership base focused on technical subject matter
Proficiency with basic office software products including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Photoshop
Competency in Informz or other htmll email platforms a plus.
Knowledge of iMis association and membership database.
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience.
