Responsible for the management and oversight of a membership-based organization and carrying out the philosophy and objectives established by the governing board. This position is directly responsible for the general direction and supervision of the organization’s operations, employees, financial affairs, membership programs and services. The position also oversees the strategy, planning and policy development and is responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws.
TORCH offices are located in north Austin.
At least 5 years of experience in managing a membership association, health care organization or related business with a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Health Administration or related field.
Experience with the Congressional and Texas legislative, policy and regulatory processes preferred.
Demonstrated planning, management, communication, public relations, and leadership skills. Solid healthcare system knowledge is also preferential.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
