General Summary: The Database IT Administrator is responsible for database maintenance, reporting on membership and events and renewal billing. This position also provides IT and office support to the Association.
I. Membership Services Activities:
Enter and maintain AMS data.
Establish data entry guidelines.
Create, update and run reports for association executives.
Act as AMS owner and point person.
Run quality reports in database.
Enter new member records into the association database, website and registration system within 24 hours from receiving it.
Act as backup for the IWLA.com Find a Warehouse in regards to fulfilling questions from members.
Process event registrations in the association AMS for IWLA meetings as assigned.
Coordinate and implement membership dues billing.
Provide general administrative support to Membership department.
Develop reports for staff and trains them to run them consistently
II. IT and General Assistance:
Assist management in making IT decisions for the association.
Assist in selecting and purchasing software and hardware for the association.
Update the computer hardware tracker with every purchase.
General office functions, as required, including answering incoming calls and routing and greeting visitors.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential functions of this position.
Ability to work occasional overtime as requested by management.
1-3 years relevant experience in data entry duties.
Ability to input data rapidly and without error.
Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office Products.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Knowledge of AMS and CRM systems.
Experience in our Association Management Software system MemberSuite is a plus.
Strong attention to detail.
Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication skills
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it for up to 10 yards as part of packing materials for events, moving supplies to and from the storage locker and the supply center.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to communicate and interact with various levels of personnel, management, members and service providers.
May occasional travel (1-2 times a year)
