A partner for excellence in the workplace? At Cascade, that’s what we’re all about and why great employers seek us out and why we’re also one of the top small employers in Oregon. As the Membership Development Manager your focus will be making connections with people and motivating and inspiring them to have their company known as a great place to work and how we can help them accomplish that goal. From lead generation, prospect management, new member acquisition and engaging members in services utilization, you will be primarily responsible for managing member growth and retention.
If you’re right for this position, here’s what you are:
You’re quick to connect with people. You actively look forward to meeting with people and developing and maintaining a relationship with them.
Naturally persuasive. Your natural warmth and enthusiasm allow you to quickly understand someone’s needs and motivations and successfully influence and persuade them on ideas, products or services.
Experienced in sales in a professional organization. Your poise and engaging and empathetic communication style are the key to achieving your goals. A traditional “salesy” approach isn’t for you.
Self-confident and motivated. You know what needs to get done and will initiate projects and processes beyond established practices while using your collaborative communication style to get the support you need to meet your goals.
Committed to results. You feel a sense of urgency to achieve your goals, but also understand the achievement of those results often requires a collaborative approach.
