Provide support and assistance to the Controller in all areas of accounting. Assist with daily financial activities, to include assistance with billing service activities, as well as, follow-up with collection activity. Assist with payroll processing, including payment of payroll taxes and payroll tax reporting. Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly disbursements. Assist with the processing of employee benefits, including payment and reporting. Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare bank account reconciliations. Maintain and update insurance data of insurance offered to participating transplant centers. Provide support and assist with the annual audit, including the preparation of required schedules.
Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or related business field from an accredited institution. At least 3 years of working experience in the areas of accounting or business, in an automated environment. Prior experience in non-profit is a plus. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles and must have working knowledge of Excel worksheet software. Requires excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
