Currently ACR is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated professional with a helpful personality who will be responsible for providing membership services for societies managed by the ACR. This position functions in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Previous experience in Abila is a MUST (NetForum PRO experience preferred). Desired candidate is a data-minded individual who thrives in an independent setting and shares the common goal of developing and implementing activities that work to attract and engage members. The ideal candidate has a project management-oriented mind with a rolled-up sleeves attitude, and must be well-versed in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
The role will entail the following:
General member services responsibilities.
Manages and maintains the association’s databases and provides direct support to society staff, members and non-members (customers).
Develops and enhances internal processes and procedures for membership processing.
Primary knowledge expert and first-tier database support (Abila).
Meets regularly with society staff and other membership staff assigned as back-ups for the managed societies to problem-solve and identify ongoing best practices for managed societies.
Processes member payments and renewals, and creates the drop member process.
Checks database structural integrity of user and system tables by conducting quarterly audits for each society.
Contributes to the formulation of society policies, programs and procedures as they relate to membership. Makes recommendations for future growth and improvements.
Prepares reports and other documents as required for the societies.
Establishes and documents standard operating protocols (SOPs) and business processes for data maintenance.
Runs reports, prints out standard correspondence and other documents as required from database.
Prepares requested reports and weekly updates as needed.
Responds to member/customer/staff inquiries
Answers incoming calls and responds to/forwards general member/customer requests and inquiries within 24 hours.
Researches and responds with the correct information.
Updates prospective member lists.
Provides in-depth research and problem resolution as required.
Researches and resolves routine data errors and inconsistencies.
Takes initiative to correct problems and anticipates the next steps in the process.
Responsible for identifying database issues or inaccurate data in Abila.
Reviews and analyzes data.
Works with director of membership, society staff and IT to determine efficient solutions to data conversion.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supports and attends meetings as assigned.
Cross-trains designated staff on duties and responsibilities identified by management.
Works with director of membership, society staff and other departments to determine the most efficient and effective set up of society products and membership in Abila.
Provides outstanding customer service in all circumstances and works to provide a positive and professional work environment.
Regularly participates in professional development activities and seeks both external and internal resources to ensure growth and development of programs and services under his or her purview.
Performs other duties as assigned by director of membership in a professional and timely manner.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:
Bachelor's (B.A./B.S.) degree required.
4-plus years working in an AMS—Abila (preferably NetForum PRO) experience a MUST.
Effective organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Previous membership experience a MUST.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, taking on multiple projects at a time.
Strong team player with hands-on, exceptional customer service skills.
Acute attention to detail and excellent follow-through capabilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to travel between 4-5 times a year for society conferences.
Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite.
