The Academy of General Dentistry is Seeking a New Team Member

Join Our Team as Manager, Marketing
Under the direction of the Director, Marketing, responsible for the overall planning and execution of organizational marketing activities, including research and promotions. Defines, supervises and executes strategies and tactics. Directs and analyzes market research. Responsible for evaluating marketing metrics and reporting to appropriate parties. Reviews, monitors and assists with development of budgets associated with assigned marketing activities. Manages outside marketing vendor activities. Assists with organizational activities and special projects, as directed.
Develop and execute organizational marketing activities including annual integrated marketing plans, research and promotions in support of organizational goals related to: AGD membership recruitment, AGD Exclusive Benefits Program, AGD Scientific Session, Education products and services including but not limited to Live Webinars, On-Demand webinars, Live Courses, Self-Instruction and Fellowship Exam and Review Course, FAGD/MAGD/LLSR Convocation, and AGD Foundation.
Oversee the creative development and execution of all AGD marketing pieces for AGD membership recruitment including full dues paying members, dental students, dental residents and new dentist target audiences, and affinity programs (AGD Exclusive Benefits) including but not limited to AGD New Graduate Professional Liability Coverage, AGD Scientific Session, Continuing Education products and services including but not limited to Live Webinars, On-Demand webinars, Live Courses, Self-Instruction and Fellowship Exam and Review Course, FAGD/MAGD/LLSR Convocation, and AGD Foundation. Marketing Pieces include: Web and email content, articles for internal and external publications, direct mail letters and fliers, print advertisements, banner advertising, and other marketing collateral as needed to achieve AGD’s strategic goals.
Assist the Director, Marketing in developing an annual departmental budget based on planned marketing activities by budget category.
Provide overall supervision of messaging in all assigned AGD products and services’ communications to ensure a consistent marketing message and brand.
Manage day-to-day relationships with AGD partners.
Develop, promote, and execute all related activities on-site during the AGD Scientific Session, including the design and staffing of the AGD Resource Pavilion within the exhibit hall and execution of mobile app.
Seven to ten years of marketing and/or marketing research experience required. Experience with nonprofit organizations preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related degree, Masters preferred.
Requires at least 12 days of travel, several Saturdays in office and/or travel and one to two evenings a month for conference calls.
