Develops, oversees implementation, tracks, and reports membership recruitment and renewal strategies and activities; reports results. Develops and maintains the operations aspects of membership development through recruitment, renewal, the Unified Service Center, other membership related programming and activities to ensure high quality service and constituent experiences. Gathers, maintains, and reports data and trends. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to facilitate alignment of AAOS programs and services in support of membership growth and increased member value. Serves as the primary stakeholder with the AMS and ensures quality control and data integrity. Participates in the departments leadership team.
Collaborates with Marketing and other units with the development and implementation of annual membership marketing plan and activities. Develops and manages the implementation of member recruiting and renewal programs and plans; meets or surpasses projections on time and within budget. Determines segments, identifies lists, selects messaging, oversees implementation, and monitors responses. Alters plans as needed. Collaborates with units to create and distribute materials and communications.
Analyzes the functionality of the AMS to ensure it meets AAOS needs; provides recommendations for software optimization. Serves as the liaison to TDS for membership and constituent needs. Ensures the integrity of the membership database. Determines data needs, acquires data, and oversees data integration. Formulates, implements, and enforces proper data collection policies and procedures. Establishes data quality standards.
7 years’ experience working in an association environment, with emphasis in membership development,
5 years of successful supervisory experience.
