Currently ACR is looking for a Director of Education with the experience in eLearning program development, combined with program management, strong organizational, and excellent communication skills to effectively lead the team in accomplishing goals. We highly value the knowledge and ability to ensure the incorporation of patient- and family-centered care principles, and an interest in seeing the team grow and develop.
Responsibilities will include:
Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) and ACR colleagues to design and develop course content applying adult learning principles.
Develop learner engagement strategies and evaluation plans focused on delivery of new materials, such as new quality and safety requirements, or healthcare policies, to ensure radiologists are suitably equipped to provide optimal healthcare for patients.
Adapt instructional materials created for one format to another format.
Perform needs/gaps analyses using available data and evaluate program results to continuously improve learning effectiveness. Revise, rewrite and review course content for accuracy.
Manage multiple projects and programs concurrently.
Qualified candidates will have the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree is a must, Master's degree is preferred;
- Minimum of four years of experience in education program management and development;
- Experience in formulating, designing and managing processes and policies for the development and implementation of activities for lifelong learning;
- Thorough knowledge of adult learning principles and their application through educational design – particularly for interactive online learning;
- Demonstrable staff management experience in a fast-paced environment, Learning Management System (LMS) administration, and knowledge;
- Experience with Personify is a plus.
