We are looking for a candidate who will coordinate member operations, serve as a main point of contact for member inquiries, support DCN CEO and handle membership administration for Digital Content Next, the only trade organization dedicated to serving the unique and diverse needs of high-quality digital content companies that manage trusted, direct relationships with consumers and marketers.
The ideal candidate will possess an abundance of self-motivation and demonstrate an interest in learning about the digital media industry, DCN’s members, supporters and sponsors. In addition, he/she should be comfortable working in a growing and fast-paced organization and demonstrate a willingness to expand capabilities to help the organization continue to excel.
This role serves as an important member-facing contact and an organizer of member contact and communication. He/she must have experience interacting with external senior executives, excellent written and communication skills, be exceptionally well organized, technologically savvy, proficient with basic design and presentation programs and capable of managing projects simultaneously. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven problem-solver and team player with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a sense of humor.
Based in New York City or Washington, DC. Reports to SVP, Market Development.
Manage communications, materials and attendance tracking for board, executive committee events and Digital DC networking events. Manage attendance tracking for member events.
Coordinate and prepare reports and materials for board meetings.
Coordinate onboarding new member companies, new board members and supporters.
Support DCN Summit event invitation process and lead on registration management.
Execute annual invoicing process including coordination of collections communications and tracking.
Work with VP, Member Relations and Marketing to execute fulfillment of sponsorships.
Coordinate board and executive committee communications, including scheduling conference calls, tracking activity and responding to information requests.
Apply proficiency with SalesForce to development of reports and analysis of records to support membership functions.
Organize and update important documents and member records, including PowerPoint slides, member directories, non-disclosure agreements, among others.
Respond to incoming member and public inquiries.
Constantly iterate and recommend changes to member processes and reports based on feedback and evaluation.
Manage membership database, board and member contacts, supporter and sponsor records.
Develop maintenance process including proactive outreach to members to update and maintain records to ensure information is current and accurate.
Master the web content management system, email distribution systems, event software application and others, and act as back-up for website/database functions.
Primary support for the CEO including all schedule/calendar coordination and coordination with Executive Committee.
Some office administration including support for new hire onboarding, back up for admin processes.

Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic credentials
2-4 years administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
