The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) is seeking a candidate to be responsible for the programmatic development of the annual meeting coordination with the four sponsoring societies, including abstract management and the production process of all annual meeting publications and multimedia resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as annual meeting program liaison with all four societies and Program Chairs.
Manage Conflict of Interest Resolution process
Manage all logistics related to the CME system.
Coordinate with Marketing Department for content and format of all annual meeting promotional program materials.
Coordinate digital posters and poster hall logistics.
Oversee the coordination of the Meet-the-Professors/Meet-the-Investigators and Breakfast with the Experts sessions
Oversee annual meeting Scientific Session digital and physical signage
Maintain all annual meeting program related reports; user manuals and standard operating procedures and instructional videos.
Manage program evaluation process.
Research and implement new program initiatives and or technology.
Manage program budget accounts.
Manage department inbox.
Assist Sr. Director of Program Operations and Vice President of Meetings and Conventions in any phase of the event operation or activity that is necessary.
Other duties, consistent with this position, as assigned.
Prior publication and electronic media experience preferred.
Must possess college degree
Positive “team player” attitude and excellent interpersonal skills required.
