The Communications Specialist will assist the Senior Director of Communications and Publications in the development, implementation and management of the NBCRNA’s communications strategies, and the development and maintenance of website content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Develop and manage the digital content on the NBCRNA website.
Gather information and prepare monthly reports for NBCRNA Board of Directors with metrics of communications activities.
Develop and launch content on organization’s social media sites; oversee the day-to-day social media activities.
Assist in the development and production of brochures, reports, meeting materials and other communications vehicles.
Provide analysis of data collected via surveys and other sources.
Serve as a staff support for the Communications Committee and other committees as deemed necessary.
Maintain a thorough communications calendar for electronic and print communications.
Assist with developing and launching new communications outlets/projects; innovate.

Must be able to occasionally travel, potentially over weekends
Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or English preferred with several years of related experience.
