SSA is seeking a Coordinator to assist with meeting, membership and marketing for the State Association Management division. The Coordinator will be responsible for planning, logistics, and marketing for meetings, education programs, as well as membership functions of the SSA’s managed state associations.
Membership/Marketing/Communication Responsibilities include: Produce, write, edit materials for membership, state conferences, quarterly newsletters, monthly Globe magazine, and state websites. Coordinate mailings and emails to state groups as needed. Answering membership and meeting inquiries via email and phone as well. Must possess advocacy and research skills in order to convey message of managed state associations to constituents.
Meeting Responsibilities include: Develop registration materials and process registrations for SSA State meetings. Coordinate program related support including collection of all session materials; speaker biographies; audiovisual needs and presentations. Communicate with exhibitors and sponsors regarding participation at meetings. Maintain database profile for all meetings and develop and maintain reports. Order all meeting supplies, promotional items and signage. Prepare attendance lists, rooming lists, meeting badges, name tents and other meeting materials as needed. Coordinate meeting content and information on the website. Coordinate catering and logistics for SSA State meetings. Provide on-site coordination for meetings as assigned. This requires travel to 1-2 day meetings, approximately 6 per year.
