The American Association of Tissue Banks is looking for a professional, friendly and helpful individual who is interested in the tissue transplant & donation field to serve as a Communications & Program Coordinator.
This individual will be responsible for drafting and distributing AATB announcements and regulatory guidance using email marketing software. In addition, they will be responsible for proofreading, editing and formatting content for the AATB website, social media channels, quarterly newsletter and annual report.
Other duties include: conference speaker management, support and communication; conference registration report analysis, management of annual abstract award and Rose Parade sponsorship programs, and administrative support for the AATB Communications and Donor Family Service Committee and other duties as required.
This position will report to the Director of Communications.
Occasional overnight travel to support AATB events or represent AATB as an exhibitor may be required (3-6 trips predicted per year).
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to either communications or science (or equivalent work experience)
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required
Excellent proofreading skills
Experience with Constant Contact, Real Magnet, social media, Survey Monkey, Cvent, Salesforce, Cadmium, HTML a plus
Program/education development management or association experience a plus
