Basic Function: The Senior Associate, Member Database, will work with the team in planning, implementing, and maintaining applications that are within the member management program. The position will primarily support netFORUM and any application or service that shares data or integrates with netFORUM. The position supports and maintains data service, web services, and reporting services necessary for data sharing across the member management program. This is a full time exempt position reporting to the Senior Vice President, Information Technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrator for netFORUM association management platform (AMS).
Provides technical support for Power BI and netFORUM query requests.
Retrieves and processes data from SQL Server, MS Access, and MS Excel.
Provides technical support for member-facing applications and integrations.
Supports the integration of netFORUM with other platforms in use at ULI.
Currently: Power BI, Real Magnet, Higher Logic, SpotMe, and WordPress.
Plans and recommends application improvements and cost optimization solutions.
Solves staff software problems and provides informal training to staff when required.
Partners with Training and assists with development and delivery of training materials that support the member management program.
Meets with business units to understand their data and operational needs that are supported by netFORUM and recommends appropriate solutions.
This position interacts with every department in ULI along with all of the Institute’s satellite offices.
Must have technical proficiency in netForum with at least 3 years of experience supporting netFORUM or similar association management software/member management software. Prior netFORUM reporting experience is preferred.
Prior experience with Power BI, Real Magnet, or Higher Logic is preferred.
Strong logical and analytical thinker.
Attention to detail.
Ability to analyze a request, understand business process and objectives, and develop appropriate solutions.
Ability to communicate technical material to a nontechnical audience.
Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas and communicate through written works, audio conference, and web conferences.
Experience working with a membership association is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Technology or member management certifications are a plus.
