A boutique Capitol Hill lobbying firm with a primary focus on the food, agriculture, and finance industries and association management is looking to hire a responsible, proactive, detail-oriented individual for an Executive Assistant position. This position provides both administrative and program support for the firm’s principal.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Create organized systems and procedures for overall efficiency of the Executive Office.
Manage Executive’s priorities, important tasks and deadlines.
Coordinate travel arrangements
Organize and submit expense reports.
Organize both internal and external meetings.
Manage Executive’s email correspondence and phone calls.
Draft correspondence on behalf of the Executive.
Research issues and present findings.
Delegate issues and correspondence to others in the Executive's absence.
Other special projects as needed.
Three to five years of related administrative experience.
Exceptional organizational and strategy
Ability to learn and work independently and proactively.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
A positive yet professional attitude.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
College degree required.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word Press, and social media sites).
