Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required. Strong communications skills. Demonstrated experience working with executive team, boards, and volunteers required. Strong graphic and website design experience required. Non-profit experience preferred.
At least five (5) years experience in business development and marketing. Supervisory and management experience is required. Experience managing media is required.
The ability to work with all persons with multiple challenges (psychiatric, addiction, physical challenges, etc.). Experience in preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial projections. Proficiency in HTML, Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing tools (Constant Contact), MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). In-depth knowledge and understanding of social and digital media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, etc. and how each platform can be deployed in various scenarios. Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Solid organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience of having expanded and cultivated existing donor and stakeholder relationships. Flexible and adaptive style, both strategically and tactically. Possesses exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills. Effective at working with others to reach common goals and objectives. Skill in relating needs of ReDiscover to individuals, foundations and corporations. Effective understanding of website information and programming languages such as HTML. Responsible for developing strategic communications for key internal and external speaking engagements and events, media opportunities, and other communications to help advance the agency’s strategic vision. Develop and execute strategic, comprehensive social media plan that engages the public, offers relevant content for each platform, and develops brand awareness. Manage relationships with media partners and marketing vendors. Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience sourcing and managing content development. Exhibits ability to move from creative marketing to analytical marketing to demonstrate need. Possesses ability to effectively communicate information and ideas relevant to the agency mission. Exhibits team spirit with confidence to take lead and guide staff as appropriate (e.g., reputation management, content development, creation and editing of material, etc.).
