American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) has a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Manager, Member Engagement.
The Senior Manager, Member Engagement is responsible for Increase the level of customer intimacy with AHIMA members and customers by creating and maintaining a constant feedback loop, measuring member and customer satisfaction, providing valued membership benefits to retain members and recommending and implementing process improvements in order to continually enhance the member and customer experience. This position will oversee and coordinate an integrated member and volunteer communication strategy that reduces redundancy and increases effectiveness association-wide.
Deliver a member-centered experience for AHIMA members through integrated messaging, measuring and reacting to member and customer satisfaction data, and increasing the direct dialogue with these stakeholders.
Oversee the retention and growth functions of membership including cross-functional responsibility for the more than $7 million in annual dues revenue and expense management.
Increase the conversion rate of student members to graduate and active, and active to premier by delivering an increasingly relevant and targeted experience that engages members early in their career path and provides the kind of resources that support their progress at every stage of their membership journey. Nurture group membership, bulk membership, and global membership/chapter relationships.
Facilitate cross-functional planning to increase collaboration across the organization as it relates to the many member touch points. These include all member communications, customer service, web and online member facing interfaces, facilitating the community of practices, mentoring and affinity programs. Dues invoicing and payment processing, volunteer activities, and more. Keeping the point of view of the member central to all these interactions, improves the overall member experience.
Bachelor’s degree, 8-10 years association management experience, CAE preferred. Healthcare experience a plus
Demonstrated communication, project management and organizational skills
Computer literacy required to include a proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), as well as other technology tools
Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and trouble shoot to improve processes to streamline and improve the member experience. Execute programs
Ability to negotiate benefits offerings with vendors, manage member communications and programs, collaborate on decisions of the larger Business unit
