In addition to providing excellent customer service to Atlanta Bar members, this key staff member must be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and have refined communication and organizational skills. Work duties include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
Invoice and process membership applications, following documented procedures and guidelines; Maintain and update data in the membership-related portions of the Association’s master database; is the key person responsible for the integrity of the membership data; Develop monthly membership reports and analysis; Assist with Atlanta Bar Association events, including registration, set-up and support; Assist in coordination of all Membership Committee meetings, including transcribing membership committee meeting notes, sending follow-up correspondence and tracking committee membership recruitment progress; Track and maintain member participation and engagement statistics by creating reports and spreadsheets that illustrate member involvement
Develop and organize member prospect spreadsheets, complete with key contacts and background information; Assist in development of programs and events that attract new members and engage and retain existing members; Generate member prospect leads through a variety of sources including the Internet, contacts, periodicals and direct leads; Compile membership packets and work with the Executive Director to identify and develop membership recruitment and retention materials.
Bachelor Degree preferred; Associates Degree required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Good written, analytical, oral communication and presentation skills.
