We are seeking a high-energy, self-starter to join our team of account managers. This position requires the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously, and in most cases, traveling to our customers' annual exposition. The position combines trade-show logistics, customer service, and basic IT skills into one position. As an Account Manager at a growing company you will be the primary contact between Expo Tracker and your assigned clients.
Working with a team, you’ll oversee events with attendance ranging from 1,000 – 15,000 participants, including planning, coordinating, and managing multiple aspects of each conference/exposition. This position requires an understanding of basic project management principles and proficiency in technology tools required to coordinate event activities and tasks.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and execute the timeline for multiple accounts which includes coordinating the development and launch of the online exposition management systems;
Create a customer service plan and communicate it with the customer and ET team;
Coordinate the ordering of supplies, shipment of equipment, and assembling of the onsite Expo Tracker team;
Supervise the setting up, testing and staff training for onsite systems;
Assist other ET team members with their accounts as needed.
Travel up to 30% annually domestically and internationally
Some overtime as needed during events/meetings
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred;
2+ years trade show, meeting planning, or event planning experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and other technology as adapted by the team
