This position will be responsible for providing support and services to student members,
chapters, volunteers and faculty and to assist in membership campaign development,
execution and fulfillment.
Student Member Experience: Responsible for a quality student member experience. Oversees student sections and provides support to section leaders. Manages and oversees student member retention, including developing retention and engagement programs.
Student & Member Engagement: Provides proactive and positive customer service and volunteer support. Develops monthly blog for student members and key stakeholders. Assists with creating engagement collateral for students and recent graduates. Assists department managers in community development. Administers outstanding student section of the year award.
Student Conference and Conference Initiatives: Responsible for coordinating and implementing annual Future Safety Leaders student conference. Plans student activities at the annual professional development conference.
Member Retention: Coordinates and monitors monthly retention efforts. Compiles and analyzes data reports.
Volunteer Management: Manages and supports volunteer committees.
Campaign Fulfillment: Oversees fulfillment of membership marketing campaigns.
Member Recruitment: Assists in identification, development, and execution of member recruitment campaigns. Assists with follow up and tracking of prospective member inquiries.
Bachelor's degree and experience with marketing, communications, volunteer management or customer service a plus or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Requires daily communication with volunteer leaders and members.
Detail oriented self-starter with a creative mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload.
Proactive and positive personality with the ability to work in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms.
Ability to work Monday through Friday during normal working hours and occasionally attend a meeting on the weekend and travel to our annual conference.
Intermediate Microsoft Office experience, Word, Excel and Outlook.
