Position Description Summary: The Institutional Research Coordinator works directly with the Associate Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness and the Institutional Research and Effectiveness Manager to conduct and coordinate institutional research-related projects, activities and initiatives. These activities include the distribution and collection of data from annual surveys, daily management of the Assessment and Accreditation Management System (AAMS) and ad hoc requests of data collected. The coordinator will regularly communicate with staff, association members, and external business partners.
Institutional Research and Effectiveness General Responsibilities (5%) • Update the Institutional Research section of the AACP website • Serve as a member of the Institutional Research and Effectiveness internal team
AACP Survey System (55%) • Serve as the primary liaison to member institutions for survey system communications • Provide helpdesk support, coordinate enhancement requests and issues between member institutions and Survey System vendor • Conduct data review of survey submissions, data cleaning, and survey follow-up activities for all AACP surveys • Produce ad-hoc peer reports upon request
Assessment and Accreditation Management System (AAMS) (35%) • Serve as the primary liaison to member institutions for AAMS communications • Provide helpdesk support, coordinate enhancement requests and issues between member institutions and AAMS vendor • Participate in design and testing of system enhancements • Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and presentations
Perform General AACP Staff Responsibilities (5%) • Participate in AACP staff working groups as assigned • Provide occasional general administrative staff support • Potential travel, one to two times per year

Qualifications for Position: (list experience, skills, and education required)
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field. • At least 1-2 years experience in research/survey field. • Expertise in Excel and database management systems. Experience with Tableau a plus. • Familiarity with web-based software and project management applications • Aptitude for numbers and ability to manipulate data with accuracy and precision. • General knowledge of trends in higher education • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines • Strong written and oral communication skills • Exceptional customer service skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to be flexible and work creatively as part of a team or individually
Additional Salary Information: Salary Commensurate Depending on Experience
