The Executive Director of the Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation has responsibility to manage all aspects of operations, educational programs and fundraising.
This encompasses management of all interactions with external stakeholders for the purpose of advancing the goals and direction of the Foundation while implementing the marketing and/or strategic plan.
The Executive Director is responsible for retaining employees to implement the Foundation’s agenda and will work closely with the President/CEO and the Board of Directors.
Three years of management experience is required.
Demonstrated management skills: specifically, a track record of success as a team-oriented leader and manager of people with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate staff and volunteers.
Successful track record in developing and executing revenue generating programs, sponsorships, marketing, and charitable donations.
Experience managing grants and contracts, especially those received from government agencies is highly preferred.
Experience with implementing educational courses in an online format is a plus.
Decision maker with the ability to set priorities, manage, and implement them. Strong organizational skills.
Proven expertise in identifying, cultivating and soliciting individual, corporate and foundation support through sponsorships and donations.
Demonstrated success as an effective communicator both verbally and written.
