The professional development manager will coordinate ITE efforts to help its members meet their Continuing Professional Development. Will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate activities related to continuous professional development.
Be skilled in project management, possessing the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to details, team-player, outstanding customer service, strong interpersonal skills. The point person for the professional development programs.
Provide leadership and direction to the program to ensure the program is effective. Periodically liase with government and non-government agencies to ensure successful training and certification standards are met.
Coordinates webinar and face-to-face seminars schedules and topics.
Supports the professional development department in development and administration of educational programs for in-person and e-learning programs including managing the Professional Development Committee.
Assists with speaker relationships, contracts, presentation coordination for webinar and in-person events. Updates and proofreads speaker related forms and documents.
Assists in writing promotional content for member marketing communications on educational offerings. (ITE Journal and ITE Connect and ITE Community)
Manages implementation of association webinars and LMS including overseeing the technology to deploy the webinars and online learning and staff training.
Assists in developing and implementing on-line courses.
Serves as day-to-day liaison between subject matter experts (content developers) and Learning Management System (LMS) provider for our online courses, webinars and webinar archives and contracted deliverables.
Manages learner profiles and records in the LMS database.
Supports all functions of the LMS including but not limited to: backend set up, reports, customer support for e-learning users/members of the association, training, launching content, and understanding basic functionality.
Assists in growing educational offerings.
Answers the telephone and emails, responds to inquiries regarding professional development issues.
Manages the budget and provides revenue and progress reports/briefings to executive management, committee and external stakeholders.
Facilitates the renewals or application process for continuing education provider status (States, APA or IACET)
Performs other duties as assigned or based on contract tasks.
Strong communication skills, great member service orientation and attention to detail are a must! 2-5 years experience preferred.
