The Senior Manager of Learning & Product Solutions is a high-performing, results-oriented individual with experience in designing and implementing learning solutions related to digital product implementation. Working as part of the APICS Learning and Development team under the direction and supervision of the Director of Learning and Product Development, the Senior Manager will be instrumental creating, implementing, and managing business requirements for enterprise-wide learning and development products to be offered through the Supply Chain Learning Center. The Senior Manager must be an expert in managing the business requirements for multiple high-quality learning product implementations and will plan, develop, execute and maintain products and deliverables to ensure successful launch of new digital products and should have experience with learning standards such as SCORM, xAPI, LTI and others and how they are implemented in to Learning Management Systems and other learning platforms. Excellent project management skills are required to be successful in this position.
Plan, schedule and control project activities to fulfill objectives and satisfy project requirements.
Create and maintain product and learning program criteria and standards for in-house and external vendors
Manage the alignment of existing and future products and learning programs to documented standards
Review and identify new software and product services for use within Learning and Development and throughout the business when requested.
Analyze business requirements needed for each project, including documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications to ensure project requirements are outlined/met
Responsible for understanding, tracking and analyzing product data: using evaluation, quantitative, qualitative and analytical skills to create/generate reports.
Elicit, document and analyze reporting needs and requirements; analyze data and reporting solutions to understand business impact and to propose changes/alternate solutions.
Manage resources to complete projects consistent with internally-set expectations and in a timely manner.
Maintain quality control oversight over vendors, contractors and outside resources.

Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in relevant topic area (e.g. Learning Technology, Instructional Technology, eLearning, etc.) and/or equivalent experience
Five to seven (5-7) years of professional experience building business requirements and working with instructional/learning technologies and/or implementing professional education products
Proven and advanced experience with online/electronic education delivery methods, including learning standards (SCORM, xAPI, LTI, etc.) and how they apply to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other delivery methods.
Prior experience working in or with associations strongly preferred
Prior experience working in adult education, instructional delivery, or instructional technologies strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be an expert in managing education and learning programs and projects including the technical implementation of online learning programs.
Strong project management and negotiation skills; must be a problem-solver with excellent analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and execute on multiple, simultaneous, complex priorities, while multi-tasking to meet individual and the department-related deadlines;
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to work effectively with people of diverse talent and background.
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional levels.
Familiarity with Aptify Association Management System (AMS) or other AMS/CRM system strongly preferred.
Flexibility and capability to perform in ambiguous situations and the ability to anticipate operational needs.
