The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) seeks to hire a Meeting Associate who provides the administrative support for the planning and execution of the Association’s industry-leading conferences and forums.

What you'll do:
The Meetings Associate provides administrative support for the Events team with respect to ordering and maintaining supplies for conferences, packing and coordinating conference shipments, printing badges and other materials, compiling conference survey and feedback scores, coordinating follow-up letters, maintaining databases and files, and providing on-site support at conferences. You will support the team’s event planners by working on hotel specifications, researching reception and other venues, and coordinating the completion of conference contracts. The position supports the execution of exhibits and sponsorships with handling invoicing, data entry, and servicing exhibitors and sponsors as needed.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong organizational and project management skills -- the ability to balance a number of competing interests in a pressure-filled context and be flexible with changing priorities.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including weekends.
Effective, professional oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Word and Excel; Windows-based data entry experience required and iMIS experience is a plus.
Strong team player, who knows how to work within the team.
Previous experience in events and/or customer service is a plus.
Previous experience working on contracts is a plus.
