The Space Transportation Association, Cyber, Space & Intelligence Association, and Strategic Forces Association are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Co-Director of Membership, Events and Research.
Working from our small, modern, high tech office located in Northern Virginia, you will have the opportunity to organize robust programs for our corporate members including NASA, Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community and beyond.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
As Co-Director of Events, will be part of team managing all aspects of events
Create invitations, send emails to select members and guests, and track responses
Co-manage day of event tasks
Network with Corporate members, government employees and potential recruits
Membership strategy and operations:
As Co-Director of Membership, will be part of team responsible for recruiting and retention strategy and operations, working closely with the President
Develop good working relations with members and recruits
Part of team for invoicing and accounts receivable
Ad Hoc Tasks:
Track relevant legislation and policy
Manage Outlook contact database
Work with the President to accomplish research in a variety of high tech fields
Prior experience in a dynamic, fast paced, work environment highly desired
Must be a US citizen
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Superb time management skills – the ability to juggle many tasks at once
Attention to detail
Ability to learn standard operating procedures quickly and seamlessly integrate into daily responsibilities
Strong communication and writing skills
Great sense of humor
Applicants should be able to work well both independently and under guidance.
The three associations operate out of a modern, high tech home office located in Northern Virginia.
Normal business hours are 8:30am-5:00pm. Telecommute 1 or 2 days per week typically. Availability to support evening events on Capitol Hill about three or four times a month between the hours of 5:00pm-8:00pm is required.
Annual salary is $60,000 - $84,000 or more, depending on qualifications and experience.
Start date April 2019.
Additional Salary Information: Salary and benefits package is very competitive.
