The PICPA is in search of a confident, outgoing individual, with strong interpersonal skills to serve as the liaison to chapter leadership and committees. This influential role assists and guides members in planning and developing our continuing education and social programs, community involvement events, and networking opportunities. Partnering with committees in chapters throughout Pennsylvania, you will contribute to statewide chapter and membership initiatives.
Volunteer Management: Work with member volunteers from chapter committees to develop and support local engagement opportunities.
Event Planning: Plan and execute chapter committee meetings, educational programs, and social and community service events.
Communications and Promotions: Assist with the coordination of event promotions.
The chapter administrator position requires travel to events during and outside of normal business hours. Overnight travel may be required. The level of travel varies throughout the year. Some lifting and moving of materials will be required.
The ideal candidate will have a service-oriented attitude, meeting planning experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail.
3+ years relevant experience
Strong interpersonal skills with regard to diplomacy, negotiation, conflict resolution
Excellent organizational, meeting planning and project management skills
Deadline oriented with regard to projects, meetings, events, etc.
Volunteer management experience preferred
Four-year degree in business, communications, marketing, organizational management or another related discipline
CMP and/or CAE a plus
