The Global Director of Business Development is a savvy business leader that is forward-thinking and outcome-focused to achieve global market share and revenue growth as result of strong client relationships that are nurtured and developed from a high-performing team of Regional Business Development Directors and Account Managers across North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. Global Director will demonstrate track record of exceeding budgeted revenues and market growth goals, with financial rigor around budget and expenses.
The Global Director works with team to ensure continued growth from existing clients, while concentrating on growing the market, developing new business, and diversifying revenue sources. The Global Director also leads and deploys Account Management to ensure team fulfills all contractual obligations to clients and provides highest standard of customer care. This dynamic leader is thoroughly familiar with market conditions and provides insights for product development and multi-channel business solutions around digital and social platforms, print solutions, experiential marketing, event activations, targeted campaigns, data and market insights, training and development, and custom offerings.
This position offers competitive salary plus bonus based on achieved revenue targets.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
Five years of experience in business with revenue accountability and demonstrated growth year-over-year
Experience selling experiential marketing, event sponsorship, new media and marketing channels
Experience or understanding of Business Events industry a plus
