Our client is a national, non-profit organization that is looking for a high-energy Operations Manager to join its professional team.
In this role, you’ll support the operations department and oversee the daily administration of all office activities and services to achieve maximum productivity and expense control.
Assist with operations projects; act as operations administrator (e.g., check request processing, staff timecard management, leave report processing, etc.); and assist with the financial oversight of vendors.
Serve as the liaison to the association’s IT vendor and act as the on-site IT point of contact, including but not limited to handling general IT set-up for staff (e.g., computers, phone extensions, email accounts, A/V, etc.), handling general IT equipment maintenance (e.g., copiers) and contracts, performing IT onboarding and orientations, and managing IT and equipment inventory.
Manage the administration and vendors for office operations, including but not limited to equipment procurement; assigning/maintaining suite and building security cards and monitoring security systems; managing the office supply inventory and procurement; liaising with the cleaning company; liaising with the parking garage vendor; managing off-site storage, including defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records; maintaining stationery inventory; and ordering business cards.
Act as the liaison to the property manager, building engineers, etc.; andFacilitate internal meetings, including food and beverage orders, conference room set-up, etc., and plan and manage staff events.
Qualified candidates will have:
General IT experience, including technical helpdesk setup and support for local users, and vendor interaction;
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience);
Three+ years proven track record in an office management role;
Superior verbal and written communication, with good command of the English language and strong interpersonal skills;
Effective project management, planning, and organization skills;
Ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and communicate with tact and professionalism;
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a willingness to take initiative and follow up independently while coordinating multiple projects, deadlines and fluctuating priorities; and
Must be technologically savvy, computer literate and efficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Word and Excel.
