Reporting to the Director of Education Curriculum and Alliances, the Education Manager is responsible for communication, coordination and management of several of the education functions for our membership. Within our fast-paced environment, you’ll work with the director to develop annual meeting and seminar curriculum, coordinate speaker selection, ensure CME compliance, assist in production of marketing materials, and help in all of the education department’s “special projects.”
HOW YOU’LL SERVE OUR MEMBERS:
Manage speaker scheduling and engagement for several of the meetings, workshops and seminars
Coordinate content development and speaker slot assignments
Create content and update web pages
Produce and distribute promotional materials
Assist with committee meeting preparation and seminar/workshop logistics
Participate in meeting preparation; fundraising communications and other related initiatives
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a “how can I help you?” attitude
Proven project management, organization and collaboration skills
Organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
A passion for accuracy and attention to detail with a focus on process orientation
Knowledge of database management; iMIS experience is a plus
Experience with website content management systems (CMS) is preferred
5+ years of meetings/education experience required, preferably in an association.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Some travel required, including travel to annual conference
