The ideal candidate must have: • Bachelor’s degree required; BSc/BA in computer science, information sciences or related field preferred • Minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing, developing, and documenting custom reports dealing with information systems • Proficiency with Oracle SQL Scripting, Java Script, Oracle APEX framework, • Experience with Tableau and BOXI preferred • Experience with Data Modeling and Analytics, Data Administration, • Experience with CRM/LMS, CMS required

I. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizational Reporting & Analysis (30%) • Develop ad hoc queries and advanced reports using appropriate tools • Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures • Create reporting dashboards for management purposes • Create reporting specifications and define reporting requirements, in collaboration with staff • Develop SOPs for reports that include run-time instructions and description of report output • Assist in collecting, processing, reporting and analysis of post-exam and survey research data • Analyze and propose new approaches to viewing and accessing data • Keep abreast of new reporting and analytics tools • Manage 3rd party vendors or contractors who provide reporting development services • Catalog, document, maintain and serve as the primary source of all reports developed for DANB and the DALE Foundation.
Data Management (30%) • Build and maintain data models for key business systems that are core to reporting and system design, integration and maintenance. Build additional data models as required. • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the DANB and DALE Foundation data model and schema within the organization’s core applications such as the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Learning Management System (LMS) • Ensure and enhance data integrity by identifying, designing and implementing system data input controls, user data input guidelines and procedures and reports that identify potential data anomalies and the procedures necessary to repair them • Analyze and convert data into information and insights that supports the business need to make reliable and insightful data-driven decisions
Application Support (20%) • Provide the highest level of internal knowledge and technical support capabilities of the CRM software modules and system capabilities • Support creation application operating processes and procedures with functional business groups • Develop and configure application interfaces within the CRM system, using Oracle APEX framework • Troubleshoot issues/problems to identify root causes of bugs and deficiencies with the CRM system • In coordination with the Business Analyst, assess application-related support tickets to identify trends, common issues and opportunities to mitigate further issues by recommending application functional changes, staff training, creation of SOPs and other appropriate tactics. • Manage and document the integrations between the CRM system and 3rd party platforms (exam administration vendor, content management system, accounting software, payment processor, learning management system, address verification)
Quality Assurance/Testing (10%) • In consultation with the Business Analyst, create test scripts used to ensure IT deliverables from both the IT department and external vendors are thoroughly tested and validated prior to internal stakeholder testing and acceptance • Ensure software application and functional updates do not introduce new issues or defects
Planning/Documentation/Training (5%) • Assist staff with application functionality training and testing • Manage and coordinate the implementation of IT system updates and new releases to ensure they are timed appropriately; staff training is accounted for and SOPs are adjusted as necessary • Assist CIO with staff technology initiatives (e.g., make recommendations to coordinate agenda development with each staff lead of these committees: Staff Technology Committee, Staff Business Improvement/Innovations Committee, Document Management Committee)
Miscellaneous (5%) • Perform IT support and other IT-related tasks as required • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends • Participate in various staff meetings • Participate in training as needed • Perform other duties as assigned
