The Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW), is the largest organization of business journalists in the world with more than 3,000 members. SABEW is a nonprofit established to promote superior coverage of business and economic events and issues.
SABEW is seeking candidates with five years of work experience. This is a fulltime opportunity for someone with administrative and organizational skills and an association membership services background.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Digital and social media skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Association membership experience.
Prepare membership marketing materials and monthly member update.
Manage social media accounts and provide regular and timely updates.
Maintain and update the org. website.
Offer administrative support.
Update member database.
Support conferences, events and workshop production.
Some travel to conferences, events and meetings mainly focused in and around the D.C., New York city area.
Telecommuting is allowed.
