We are seeking a highly motivated, articulate individual with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience for the position of Manager Industry Relations and Fundraising. The Manager is responsible for securing industry sponsorship, selling exposition space for the ASNC annual meeting and smaller live meetings that occur annually. The Manager will work to cultivate and maintain positive productive relationships with industry partners and identify new potential partners. In addition, the Manager will work with the industry partners to explore new and innovative partnerships/sponsorship opportunities that will support growth of the field. Last, the Manager will establish and implement an annual giving program that will support ASNC and priority programs. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder and confident and charismatic speaker, welcomes new responsibilities, has demonstrated experience and success developing relationships and securing funding, and is creative and detail-oriented.
Key objectives and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing industry partners.
Secure sponsorships for ASNC programs and meetings.
Explore new and innovative sponsorships.
Develop and implement annual giving program and explore planned giving opportunities.
Sell expo space at key ASNC meetings.
Development of relationships with funders through presentations, personal meetings, and regular communications.
Think creatively to find and expand new funding and grant opportunities.
Draft and oversee the development of funding proposals and ensure proper submission.
Deliver effective oral and written presentations to potential funders.
Coordinate the gathering of information (budgets, materials, etc.) to support sponsorship requests and reporting.
Track the fulfillment of sponsorship with program staff and serve as an ongoing liaison to funders.
Create and maintain fundamental systems and infrastructure such as an annual calendar of fundraising activities.
