EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT– The National Association of College and University Attorneys seeks a full-time Executive Assistant to provide support to the President & CEO and to serve as the Association’s recording secretary to its Board of Directors. Responsibilities include: handling duties in connection with the CEO’s communications; coordinating appointments; planning travel and other arrangements; and handling general office files. The Executive Assistant also manages communications with the Board, its Executive Committee and others and prepares minutes of meetings of the Board. The Assistant also develops timelines, coordinates and prepares Board meeting materials, and serves as the point of contact for all matters related to the Board and Executive Committee calls, meetings and special requests. The Assistant also staffs in part the work of the Committee on Nominations and Committee on Board Operations and works closely with the Association’s elected Board Secretary. Other duties include coordinating conference calls and preparing reports and other materials and communicating with staff on a routine basis regarding scheduling of internal meetings. The position requires travel within the US three to four times per year. Requirements include: a high degree of professionalism and responsiveness; excellent professional oral and written communication skills; strong technology skills, especially Word, Excel and Power Point and experience with SharePoint; strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision. Ability to carry out tasks/assignments with minimal supervision. Prior employment experience with an educational or nonprofit membership association preferred, as well as experience working with a nonprofit Board of Directors. A bachelor’s degree in any field is REQUIRED. Salary is in low-seventies with excellent benefits.
