Essential functions of the Senior Software Engineer – Web position:
Work with infrastructure and security teams to develop, promote, and maintain a DevOps workflow including assisting in selection and implementation of CI/CD, DAST, SAST, and other related tools and platforms;
Act as a technical member/lead of cross-functional teams during the development cycle of applications and services by assisting in the production of MVP features, product personas, user stories, and other artifacts generated in the process;
Design, develop, and implement new applications, APIs, SDKs, and other technologies that build the Inteleos™ technology and platform ecosystem and add value to Inteleos customers, staff, and other stakeholders;
Research and implement new methodologies/technologies which add value to the Inteleos™ technology and platform ecosystem by improving its lifespan, interoperability, security, and performance;
Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations

The ideal candidate will have:
Seven to ten years of experience working in Microsoft Visual Studio, source-code management tools such as TFS, VSTS, DevOps Server, BitBucket, or GitHub; and
Certifications in cloud architecture, cloud application development, web development, API development, or other pertinent areas.
Three to five years of experience in REST, Microservice, or other API development and use.
Demonstrated understanding of concepts/tools/architectures such as TDD, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platform development in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
The successful candidate will work in our headquarter office located in Rockville, Maryland, must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Inteleos will not sponsor applicants for work-authorized status now or in the future) and pass an extensive background screening (criminal, education, and skills-assessment).
