The Professional Pricing Society’s (PPS) mission is to nurture a growing community of pricing professionals committed to disseminating pricing expertise throughout the business world. We do this by providing a multi-platform forum through which exceptionally talented and creative experts can exchange cutting edge pricing strategies, tactics and technology.
This position will report to the Director of Certification and Education to ensure successful creation, implementation and operation of PPS educational offerings.The Coordinator will execute a variety of projects and programs and will work closely with the Director as well as other members of Membership and Marketing and with the Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) Board of Advisors, Meetings Team, conferences speakers, and online faculty.Candidate must demonstrate an interest in working on professional pricing education for pricing, sales, product, and marketing professionals and quickly develop a broad understanding of the PPS education programs and set priorities in work assignments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide overall coordination and implementation for delivery of high quality global pricing education programs
Assist Director and pricing course leaders with keeping content current, faculty recruitment and training
Answer questions for potential students regarding enrollment, costs, and sharing program collateral
Assist current CPP Students with questions inclusive of logins, quiz resets, and registration
Interact and engage with CPP Alumni as requested, inclusive of our LinkedIn group
Assist Director with research and recruitment of new speakers, faculty as guided
Coordinate materials and information to be posted to the online education system for education courses and post information about the course on the website.
Drafts correspondence as needed
Assists with the adherence to National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and Certified Public Accountant Continuing Professional Education guidelines
Assists with the accurate management of records (hard copy and electronic files) for all education activities
Provides phone support to members for Education and other PPS activities. Interacts with members and customers regarding courses, programs and products
Assists with other programs and projects as necessary as determined by the Director of Certification and Education to work with other department staff as needed on other education programs
Provide professional and excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Handles special projects as assigned
Open to new ideas and other duties as they arise and are assigned
Education and Experience:
Two years of administrative experience in an office environment
Association experience, particularly in a professional society preferred
Some experience with professional organizations or educations preferred
Some experience with excel, CRM, and database management preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or some college preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills including setting priorities in work assignments, coordinating projects, and following up on assignments with minimal direction
Ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Experience in creating online education and working within LMS and databases
Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively, efficiently and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization
Excellent written, organizational, communication and customer service skills are required
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Good customer / member service skills
Resourcefulness, creativity and initiative valued
Team player with positive attitude, enthusiastic energy and ability to have fun with team members
Additional Salary Information: Salary plus benefits including employer-paid health for employee and paid time off for personal time, sick time, holidays, the week between Christmas and New Year.
